Are there any Lavalonians with an interest in collecting micronational artifacts?
I've just ordered this cover from a New Zealand stamp collector. It's from the Independent State of Aramoana, a New Zealand micronation that was setup in the early 1980s as part of a campaign to oppose the development of an aluminium smelter in the town of Aramoana.
The Aramoana travelling embassy toured New Zealand, and sold stamps, to raise funds and raise the profile of the campaign.
I also have a cover from the Empire of Atlantium (ie. The Empire of Atlantium sent me a letter!). I think this could become quite addictive.
